GBGC at ICE 2011
Global Betting and Gaming Consultants certainly lived up to the “global” part of its name at ICE 2011 last month. During the three days of the exhibition we fielded more than 75 enquiries from every continent – Chicago to Chennai, Malta to Minsk. We had a number of meetings with various parties interested in establishing gambling businesses, an indication perhaps that the recession is slowly coming to an end and there is renewed interest in our sector.

The White Paper GBGC produced specially for ICE proved very popular with visitors as we had given away 200 copies by the end of the second day. If you would like a copy of the report please email us.
The Expo itself seemed busier than last year and there was a good buzz in the halls. On its wanderings round the exhibition GBGC spotted a few new products that looked of interest, including:
Aha Bingo
Another product that caught our attention was Satellite Information Services’ 3D screen which showed both real and virtual horse races, as well as football and car races. The 3D technology gives a new, enhanced user experience and it would be amazing to see it rolled out across the betting estate of bookmakers in the UK and abroad. Inevitably, however, a certain level of investment is needed to make it happen.
It was a successful exhibition for GBGC and we are already looking forward to next year’ event.
