Cheltenham: Deja Vu All Over Again
Previous form at the course was the key to winners on day three of the Cheltenham Festvial as last year’s victors retained their crowns in three of the races on the card.
Big Buck’s (10/11) held off a spirited challenge from Grand Crus to win a third consecutive Ladbrokes World Hurdle.
Albertas Run (6/1) won a second consecutive Ryanair Chase whilst Buena Vista (20/1) led from the off to record back to back victories in the Pertemps Final.
Attention now turns to the Gold Cup on Friday’s final day when Imperial Commander tries to defend his title against previous winners Kauto Star and Denman, as well as Long Run, an impressive winner of the King George VI Chase at Kempton in January.
