GBGC’s consultants will be attending a number of gambling conferences this Autumn:
Social Gaming 2012, 27 September, London
“Social Gaming 2012 is an innovative legal conference which will explore the increasing blur between gaming and gambling, sectors which seem to offer huge commercial potential. Though the possibilities seem to be endless, so too are the legal issues arising in the online space. Do virtual currencies circumvent current gambling laws? There are more calls for regulation as social games are widely available to minors and children, leading online gambling companies to invest heavily in social gaming projects.”
GBGC’s Zagreb Manager Tihana Jurican will be attending this conference and moderating a session on the challenges and opportunities posed by new technology in Eastern European markets
GBGC’s Chief Executive Warwick Bartlett will be speaking at the Public Gaming Research Institute’s conference in Miami, co-hosted by the Florida Lottery
GBGC’s consultants Warwick Bartlett and Lorien Pilling will both be speaking at this event held at the Galaxy Macau.
