The Bookmakers’ Trade Fair 2013
2013 sees the fifth annual Bookmakers’ Trade Fair opening its doors on 3 October at Wolverhampton racecourse. This one day event has everything under one roof for the bookmakers to enhance their business.

The Trade Fair started in 2009 to fill the void after the demise of The Betting Show, which had been held at the NEC. It is organised by BOS Magazine and has now become a regular feature in the calendar of the betting industry.
In putting on the event, BOS receives support and guidance from industry bodies like the Association of British Bookmakers (ABB), Gambling Commission, GamCare and IBAS.
Companies exhibiting at the show supply a range of goods and services to the betting sector, including:

• TVs and display screens
• FOBTs
• EPOS Systems
• Live racing feeds
• Printing supplies
• Furniture
• Early morning prices to staff payment systems
This year The Regional Gaming Academy, part of North Warwickshire and Hinckley College will be exhibiting at the show and will be offering advice on training courses for betting shop staff.
The Bookmakers’ Technology Consortium (BTC) will also be holding a presentation and the ABB will be hosting a forum too.
The day culminates with a twilight racing card (first race 5.45pm).
