GBGC will be returning to the Malta i-Gaming Seminar (MiGS) in 2016. This year MiGS will be held at the Hilton Malta between 7 and 9 November 2016.
MiGS 2016 will begin with a Welcome Drinks event at the Portomaso Casino, held during the final table of Battle of Malta 2016 poker tournament. There will be three days of networking, seminars, exhibitions, dinners and parties.
Global Betting and Gaming Consultants’ CEO Warwick Bartlett will be speaking on the first day of the conference in a session entitled “The Good News and the Bad News”.
Warwick will offer his view on how things are shaking out for the gambling industry. There are healthy revenue numbers but government regulation and taxation continue to take a bigger bite out of the profits. Balancing the need for government regulation and commercial interests continue to offer challenges to the e-gaming sector. This presentation will look at issues such as new e-gaming products and their segmentation. Growing costs such as compliance, media rights and other expenses will be explored as will the future of some of the leading licensing jurisdictions.
