Risk too great for banks on E-gaming
Thursday, March 04, 2010, by Andrew Thornley, comments 0

Risk too great for banks on E-gaming The main clearing banks are declining business from E-gaming operators based offshore in Alderney, Isle of Man, and Gibraltar. RBS, HSBC, Barclays, and LloydsTSB consider the risks are too great!

GBGC doesn't have to tell is readers that the banks' recent performance suggests they are not the best at evaluating risk. The irony is that the exact same banks are bankers to Ladbrokes, William Hill and Bet365 in the UK so where does the perceived risk emanate from?
